Tooly was born from a simple frustration: too many bookmarks, too many logins, too many subscriptions for basic work tools. A QR generator here, a password maker there, an invoice app somewhere else. Each one wanted $10-15/month.
So we built Tooly — a single platform with all the tools a freelancer or small business actually needs. No bloat, no upsells, just tools that work.
Our philosophy: Every tool we build should save someone time. If it doesn't, we don't add it. We'd rather have 20 great tools than 200 mediocre ones.
What We Believe
Free should actually be free. Our free tier gives you real tools with reasonable daily limits. No credit card needed. No "start your trial."
Pricing should be fair. $5/month isn't an arbitrary number. It's what a solo freelancer can afford without thinking twice. And our lifetime deal means you pay once and never worry about it again.
Your data is yours. We don't store your uploaded files. We don't sell your data. We don't build profiles on you. We just run the tools and send you the results.
Behind the Scenes
Tooly is built by a solo developer on a single VPS. No VC funding. No team of 50. Just one person who genuinely enjoys building useful software.
The tech stack is refreshingly simple: vanilla JavaScript, a Node.js API, nginx, and Let's Encrypt SSL. No microservices, no Kubernetes, no unnecessary complexity. Just working software.
What's Next
We add new tools every week based on user requests. Current roadmap includes an AI business assistant, more image/video tools, and integrations with Google Workspace and accounting software.
